Tehakatuu Marine Protected Area - With the continue support from the OceansWatch, the Tehakatuu community had established the Marine Protected Area in Lughu bay. Oceanswatch supported the community to survey the area, marked the area with the provision of floaters. Continue provide reefs monitoring trainings to local people how to carry out monitoring inside and outside the marine protected area. The community has set up a MPA committee to manage the area and continue working partnership with OceansWatch Solomon Islands.
